SO QUIET!!!!

It is so quiet here. Well, that is right now it is! The 4 kids are still sleeping. It is not this quiet when they are up, except during quiet reading time. AWWW I swear that was an inspired idea. I just love that quiet hour! It is such a nice break! I didn't realize how much I had come to enjoy the quiet. This is a little funny to me. When I homeschooled, especially all the kids, I would tell people that we were hsers and get these type of comments. "Oh, I could never be around my kids all day." "I like the time alone." "I like the quiet of my kids all being in school." OK so I do miss them like crazy when they are in school, but I do find the quiet nice. I know that putting them in school was the right choice for us at this time. There is no way I could deal with the cancer and homeschool, well it would have been extremely difficult. Anyway, I am a babbler, the noise of them home for summer can get overwhelming. I am finding my quiet when I can and enjoying it. I know the minute they get up it will be non stop "mom listen to this," "where are my shorts," "she kicked my stuffed animal," "he took the last of the cereal I wanted," "mom can I drink out of a cup," how long till time to go to lunch," "do you think I can make a mess and not clean it up till tomorrow," "how long till Alice will be home?"
Yup it is loud and fun when they are all up. For now it is QUIET!
