I can't believe how fast time seems to move sometimes. It is another beautiful week. Well beautiful here at least. I was talking to my MIL this a.m. and she has a lot of snow! The picture in my head sends me into laughter and then a few tears. She is not much shorter than I am and she said it is about chest level on her. OHHHH how cold it must be!!! So anyway I will take my cold, sun shining, with no precipitation weather, thank you very much.
Alice is healing well. She went to school Friday. Trying to figure out how to take a shower and not get her surgical wrap wet was funnier than all get out. The swelling is way down and she is going without pain pills for the most part. So it is all good.
She is feeling much better in terms of the sinus infections too.
Chad and Rachel both were into the doctors this week and you guessed it they have sinus infections now too! Grace never seemed to really have an infection, but then with tat kid you don't really know until it is all over. Jill is starting to look pathetic and puny. Starting to think she will be on antibiotics next.
I am to the annoying cough stage and in case anyone still wants to know, yes my knee is still sore! I have twisted it before though. SO I figure I still have a week or 2 to go before it is better.
Oh the real joy around here lately is I have a son hitting puberty hard! And let me tell you boys are not any easier than girls when it comes to this!!! The emotions! It is just lovely. He has teenatitude too. The real fun will be Rachel! She with her autism it is going to be such a ball. I already get a headache from her some days. I love them and wouldn't trade them for anything. I guess I now understand why people take those long weekends without the kids once in awhile. I would never be able to relax and enjoy that!
I am on a quest to own every shade of DMC floss and have a couple hundred skeins of it to wind. I am so sick of starting a cross stitch project only to discover I don't have all the colors in the pattern. I have been really enjoying working on my cross stitch nativity Christmas countdown. I am almost done. I can't wait to share pictures of it with you.
Be on the lookout for pictures of Alice's new hairdo and Grace's legwarmers! I will share some pics this week.
