Well I don't know how well you can see the red outline in the photo, but that is my garden. Well it will be my garden. We took some pics of where we want to put a garden and took them to the landlord and asked. They said no problem go ahead. So now we are going to have to find someone with a tiller to borrow! Time to make a border and buy fertilizer! I am not sure what all I want to grow. I also think I want to make the garden bigger.
I do know there will be beans and tomatoes. Tell me what do you grow in your garden. I would especially love to know if you are in my neck of the woods! I want to know what grows well here. The kids want to grow watermelon and pumpkins. I want to put strawberries in the flower bed. If my mil lived closer we would put in zucchini, but we don't really eat the stuff. Of course that could be because the only way my mom cooked it was floured and fried and I don't like that!

If you do watermelon and pumpkins start them now though just warnign you, we have never had any luck with either. Cucumbers grow great on a trellis to save space. Tomatoes do great. We've always had pretty good luck with corn too but that takes more space. We always get a huge crop of sugar-snap peas out of very few plants. Have fun!! I guess I should start planning ours! Wow, already that time again, crazy!
Q i did not plant mine last year, but in years past I did tomatoes, cucumbers, jalepenos, canteloupe, and I cant remember what else. We tried watermelon but that didn't grow. My garden is ruined thanks to all the stupid water from theneighbor. Hoping this year I can afford to finish building it up off the ground and away from the excess water.
