White Bread pic tutorial

OK here it is! The long awaited white bread pic tutorial. Grace was helping me to make this. She is such a wonderful kitchen helper. She has been enjoying learning to make bread.
First the recipe! I got this recipe from my friend Jeni, thanks girly friend!
this will make 2 loaves of bread
White bread
2 cup hot tap water 6 TBS butter
2 TBS sugar 2 tsp salt
6 cups flour 4 tsp yeast

First you want to put your yeast in a cereal bowl with 1 cup of the water and 1 TBS of the sugar to start "proofing" the yeast.

While the yeast is proofing add the rest of your ingredients to your mixing bowl.

It takes my yeast about 15 minutes to be frothy and ready to add to the bowl. Add this mixture to your mixing bowl.

You want to mix this in your heavy duty stand mixer on the "2" setting with your dough hook.
After you have mixed the ingredients let the mixer continue to kneed the dough for 3-4 minutes

set bowl in a warm spot cover with a plate and let rise for about an hour. When the plate pushes up it is time to turn out.

turn out onto lightly floured board. cut into 2 loaves. shape into 2 loaves and place in oiled pans.

place back in a warm spot and cover with a towel for about 30 minutes to rise

Place the pans in an oven heated to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.

After your bread is done baking get it out of those pans!
Place your loaves on a cooling rack and brush with some melted butter and allow to cool.

OK I hope I did a good enough job that you can follow along and give it a try!!! I don't know what it is about making fresh bread for your family that just makes you feel like you accomplished so much, but it is a great feeling.
