Giving it up!

Wednesday was Ash Wednesday and the start of Lent. No I am not Catholic, I am however an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. So anyway this whole giving something up for 40 days intrigued me. So I have decided to give up Cola drinks. I know I shouldn't be drinking them for many reasons. So my hope is if I can manage to give it up for 40 days I can manage to give it up for good. OH it is a hard one for me. I really enjoy a nice cold coke! I really have missed my coke today, not so much yesterday. I challenged my family to join my on this "give it up" but nobody took it serious. I wonder how this will go! I shall have to be a better blogger again and share how it is going. So are you giving anything up during this season of lent?
