Rambling about life

Well this week was Spring Break. The weather has been cold and rainy. The kids and I just hung out at home trying desperately to catch up on sleep. We are so sleep deprived most of the time. Anyway yesterday Alice got out to the movies with a group of friends. There was no rain so finally the rest of the kids could go out and play with the other neighborhood kids. They go out and you can see their eyes blinking trying to adjust to that thing in the sky. I swear we are part mole or something. I miss the sun. I miss the warmer air. I look forward to warmer temps and being able to open the doors.
Tonight my little brother in law and his little family will be here. I guess I should quit calling him my little brother in law. He really is not so little anymore. Whenever I think of Chuck's siblings I remember how little they were when we first married. We are about 10 years older than they are. So anyway that is about it. We appear to be over the flu, thank goodness. Still have the occasional cough, but not so much.
I am nearly done with my big Christmas cross stitch project. I am hoping that by next week I will be done. I have 9 little ornaments left for it. I still need to back the whole thing and figure out how I want to hang it. None the less, I am nearly done stitching it! I can't wait to be done so I can show it off. I forgot to show off my beaded angels. I will try and remember to post a pic of those next week.
