Another Alice foot update

OK so I have emailed a talked on the phone to people about this. It is just easier to update the blog with the information.

For anyone who hasn't heard what is going on
Friday she came home from school and said her foot hurt and when I looked at the incision it was hot, swollen, bright red, and leaking green gooo. I drew a pen line around the infection
We took her to Urgent Care Saturday morning and they cultured the goo and put her on antibiotics. The red had grown beyond my pen line so they drew a new line. This morning when I looked at it the red is going down and it is not looking so green and is actually looking better. She is at school, finals are next week. The doctor who saw her on Saturday just called and said yes it is MRSA. Alice is going to see the podiatrist on Wednesday. If it is no better than it is right now they will put her in the hospital on IV antibiotics. So I will have to update again Wednesday afternoon.
