MIA

Well I have been MIA! Did you miss me? You are going to wet your pants when you read what has been going on here. So Monday night we got Chinese food for dinner. We have been ordering the same thing from the same place for a long time now. I have a bad seafood allergy. SO we are pretty careful about eating out. Anyway somehow I managed to ingest something I shouldn't have. Monday night Chuck rushed me to the ER, wouldn't you know my Epi pen had expired long, long, long ago. Anyway so they got me breathing ok and sent me home. I was talking to the doc and said you know I think I am getting my sons flu on top of this. The doc said he thought so too. So Tuesday I was getting sicker and by Wednesday it was bad. Chuck took me to urgent care and they decided to send me back to the ER. I was struggling to breath and my blood pressure was going sky high. So the ER doc was so kind. They of course ruled out all the scary stuff. No heat attack or stroke. He said I think you just have the flu with asthma going on. OH good that is what I thought too. So they pumped me full of steroids of different types and got me opened up and breathing ok, and gave me a cough med with codeine in it. I was wiped out and couldn't hardly walk. SO finally sent me home. Jilli stayed home with the flu Thursday and Friday. When I called the doctors about her fever they said oh 103 is nothing. Most kids are running 105 with this and it is lasting a week. OH JOY! Well Grace woke up Saturday with the fever and cough and body pains. Chuck started in on it last night and Alice is starting in today.
Friday Rachel turned 11! I can't believe she is 11! Where did the time go? BTW I know I promised the grandmas pics from Friday, but well too sick to have done it yet. We have to plan a party for her still. I did manage to make her a lemon cake, she helped with it or it wouldn't have gotten done. She had a good day all in all she said.
OK I hope that this is a better week for everyone! OH and another foot update! It is nearly healed! Alice's foot looks great and she told me it is pain free.
