Well we are experiencing changes here in Michael Land.
Starting Monday I will only be schooling Grace at home. At the end of last school year Rachel and Grace had expressed a desire to go to traditional schools. We said OK and registered them. Due to huge disagreements about placement of Grace we decided to just put the girls back in Connections Academy and school them at home again. Well CA has changed their curriculum for the 4th grade and it requires a lot of hand holding from me. I am just not so great at dividing myself between 1st and 4th grade. Since the issues that kept Grace from going to the neighborhood school in September are still there I decided to send Jill and Rachel. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from me. This really is the best decision for us at this time. I don't think we will be back at CA next year. I don't know if I will try K12 for a year with Grace and then send her to 6th grade at the middle school or if I will fight with the elementary school on placement. We will just have to wait and see. So I thought I would share these pictures with you tonight of the kids from their first day of school this year. I guess we will be having a second first day of school next week. sigh
Can you believe she drives herself every morning to be to school for a 6:30 0 period weightlifting class? She is a Junior this year too. Sad time is going to fast
Bones here just got his report card and got all 4 A's and 1 B. He has been on Honor Roll every term his whole schooling career.
This lovely is our fabulous 4th grader. She is a 1st grader!!! I had to post the pouty face. She didn't want to do a photo shoot.
