Fresh Starts

Here it is!  January of a brand new year.  Time for Fresh starts in life.  Alice is safely back in Rexburg with a fresh start in a new term of school.  Lots of decisions for her to make.  I know if she is patient and still she will hear the Lord as he guides her.  That is true for all of us.  If we are patient and still we will hear.  As for the rest of us?
Well today Chad is in traffic class.  Why you ask?  My lovely 16 year old got his first speeding ticket.  I really hope some day way off to look back and say his only.  By going to the class it will give him a fresh start too.  The ticket will be wiped from his driving record.  Jill is starting back to Connections academy, yet another fresh start.  We have left K12.  It never suited us and we were never 100% happy there.  So we don't have to stick it out now.  So I have decided that since I love to crochet while doing school time with Jill I am going to make it a goal to make 2 complete sets of mittens, booties, and a hat that I will then donate to charity.  It gives me something to work on and it gives me a way to "give back" so to say.  I have been busily undecorating Christmas and putting things back in order.   The middle girls will get their fresh start as soon as they pick some colors.  They are painting their room and furniture.  Well once they repair the gouge they made in their bedroom wall.  Funny all these fresh starts and I can't think of one for Chuck.  He gets to just keep on going!  I love him.  He works hard for us and puts in a lot of time on the home front too.
