It's Tuesday!

It's Tuesday! The first Tuesday of summer break. The kids finished school last week on a mostly high note. I have an issue with Chad's math teacher and math grade. Still have to talk to the principal and hope it works out well.
OH MY HECK!!! I had the best surprise! It was the surprise of a life time too! Friday night, late, there was a knock at the door. Have no idea why I told Chad to ask who it was first, but I did. It sounded like whom ever was at the door said they were Alice's friends. So I said just open the door. I was thinking it was probably some of her friends home from school wanting to see her. NOPE! It was her room mate. She told me she was home for the weekend and Alice asked her to bring me this note. Then she says oh and this too. It was my Alice!!!!! I was so excited I, and all the kids, screamed with joy and I started to cry. It was just awesome to see her and hug her and spend the weekend hanging out. So she wakes up daddy and he was just laid back hey how's it going. No excitement! Then says oh that is a good birthday gift. dork!
So that was the start of our summer. Now Miss A is back at school and it is just the rest of us. Every year we spend the first week or so of summer break clearing out the clutter and getting the house back in order. So that is what we are doing. I have all the girl bedrooms done! Now on to the rest of the bedrooms. This should be the rent a dumpster year, but I don't think I will need it yet. It is strange the things we decide to keep sometimes.
So it is Tuesday and I am wide awake and ready to get started. The kids still sleep.
My legs are still recovering from the stinkin infection. I have spent months on bed rest. I am almost sprung. I have to go see an infectious disease doctor and get the all clear first. that is next week. so until then I guess I will creatively clean the house and try and get back to some normalcy!
