The appraisal is back

Well the appraisal is back. It is good and it is bad. It came in quite a bit lower than the asking price. So good for us to have to pay less money. The bad thing is it came in lower. We are now waiting to hear from the seller to see if he is willing to sell to us at a lower price. He could decide to pull it off the market. We are asking that people add this to their prayers. Right now that is all we can do. I am trying to have faith that the Lord will answer our prayers and I keep packing and preparing to move. Even if this house were to fall through we will find another.

A quick Alice update: For anyone who hasn't heard she fell at cub camp the first week. She tore out the tendons in her ankle and the bones began separating. The orthopedist thought she might need surgery. He put her in a cast and said we will see how it is in a week. Well last Friday she went back and the bones are coming back together correctly, so no surgery. She is in a cast for another week and then back in that ugly walking boot for several weeks. She is doing pretty good with it. Normal sick of the cast can't get wet my arms hurt kinda stuff.

Chad had a huge ball at camp. The day he came home he walked the 3 blocks from his leaders house. He walks up on the porch and I was glad to see him. I asked him what he had been eating, thinking it was going to be a candy bar on the way home. He asks why. I said because you have it all over your face. He says oh that is probably the bbq sauce from dinner last night. Chad ewwww go take a shower. He earned a couple of his merit badges and is close on his archery one.

The younger girls are having fun riding bikes and scooters and playing with their friends. They did a few sleepouts in the back yard and are looking forward to more.

Everyone is still trying to come to terms with moving and what that will mean for them individually. I will share more about that another time.
Stay cool in this heat wave.
